All of our breeding stock are cleared for hereditary conditions.  Our Stud Dogs and Brood Bitches are cleared for Hip and Elbow Dysplasia and certified by the OFA – Orthopedic Foundation of America.  We screen annually for Progressive Retinal Atrophy (PRA) with a Board Certified Veterinary Ophthalmologist and receive certification through CERF – Canine Eye Registration Foundation.  We also screen for PRA through Optigen.  Our dogs are also cleared for conditions that can affect the heart, namely TVD and are examined by a Board Certified Cardiologist and receive certification numbers by the OFA.  If you have any question regarding any of these clearances, please let me know.

Puppies are place on a spay/neuter contract and limited registration. I do not place puppies as breeding stock or show dogs. I breed to keep a puppy for myself and usually have a waiting list for my litters. I do not take deposits until puppies are born and can not guarantee that I will have the color or sex of puppy you are looking for until they are born.  I take back any puppy I breed, no questions asked and will find a suitable home for that puppy. I require first right of refusal if you can no longer keep the pup. All my breeding dogs are certified clear of genetic diseases know to the Labrador breed. I only breed to dogs with the same clearances. Should a dog be diagnosed by a board certified veterinary specialist with a genetically debilitating disease by age 26 months, I will take that pup back.
